Lomi Lomi is traditionally performed without clothing to allow for the continuous, flowing strokes that define this practice. You will be professionally draped with a sarong throughout the entire session.
Your privacy and comfort are paramount. Genitals are never exposed or touched. The sarong is used skillfully to maintain modesty while allowing the flowing strokes to move freely across your body.
For men, the chest will be exposed and massaged as part of the full-body treatment. For women, breast massage is included as it's an important area for releasing tension and lymphatic drainage. However, adaptations are always made to ensure everyone remains comfortable. You are in complete control, and we'll discuss your preferences during our initial consultation.
Brazilian lymphatic drainage can be performed with or without clothing. Many clients prefer to be unclothed with professional draping for best access to treatment areas, but you can also wear light, comfortable clothing if preferred.
Brazilian lymphatic drainage uses firmer, more intensive pressure than traditional lymphatic massage. Expect rhythmic pumping movements with moderate to firm pressure designed to sculpt, drain, and detoxify. This is more active than gentle lymphatic work.
Drink plenty of water to support the detoxification process. You may notice increased urination, reduced puffiness, and improved body contours. Results continue to improve over 24-48 hours as your lymphatic system processes.
Combined sessions integrate Brazilian lymphatic drainage techniques with Lomi Lomi massage. We may start with intensive lymphatic work to sculpt and drain, then move into the deeper flowing strokes of Lomi Lomi for relaxation and integration.
